"Great hotel! I will go back!"
I arrived at the hotel. It is a little bit far away from the metro station. Twenty minutes walk at a fast pace. It has also a good bus system. Next time, I will take the bus. The hotel is completely new, and it has great facilities. The mattress is very comfortable. The room was not very big, but it was nice. Breakfast is excellent. They serve great continental breakfast. I also had "Spanish pan tumaca" and "tortilla de patata". The area is very quiet, so you can sleep very well. There are taxis always outside of the hotel, so if you need to go out at night, you can easily take a taxi. It is not a good hotel for people who want to go out at night, because it is not in downtown Madrid. It is close to the airport. It took me only 15 minutes from the metro station to the airport. The price was also great!

"Very nice, but hard to find"
We were there for one night only. The hotel is very nice with all of the amenities you expect in an upscale hotel. The room was suppose to be non-smoking, but you could definitely smell smoke when you entered the room. The staff was very accomodating and most helpful. The hotel is very difficult to find even with GPS. Our driver had to walk around the building to find the entrance. I would stay there again just because of the staff and the relatively close proximity to the airport.

"A good budget option."
As long as you are not looking for luxury or lots of facilities then this is a good option for Madrid, particularly if you have work to do in the San Blas area. It's also quite a quick trip into town on the metro too. The staff are efficient and friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The one oddity is that they advertise room service but don't provide a phone...

"I will go back to this hotel."
Outstanding Hotel, very close to the Metro to go into downtown, the staff were amazing, I ordered some soccer tickets and the manager was in the office and as soon as the lady was getting my info, he came out to welcome me and congratulated me on those tickets. Very clean, very nice area to be in, very safe. Great parking and internet location (free).

"Spartan but Roomy"
The hotel is spartan in design with modern furniture in the lobby, limited decorations, and cement ceilings (reminiscent of some 1960s architecture). Nevertheless, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Our room was a loft with plenty of space and a high ceiling. Upstairs were two beds for kids while a King was downstairs along with a sofa, fridge, and microwave. The facility included free, fast WIFI that connected easily. The Hotel is well situated near restaurants, the airport (20 euros), and a metro stop. Also in the neighborhood were a few markets and a Spanish language bookstore. The neighborhood appeared safe with several hotels and apartments nearby. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for budget conscious families. If you are looking to be pampered or located near hotels or entertainment, you should probably look elsewhere.

"Nice, accessible via the Metro stay"
Very nice hotel at a very convenient location for quick overnight stay before taking a flight. The room was very clean, comfortable. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room. The fitness room was adequate. The free coffee (Nespresso if I recall correctly) and cookies were very nice. For the price this was much better than I expected. Did not use any of the other amenities.

Pocket Guide: Madrid Arturo Soria - Ciudad Lineal Hotels

In the north-west of the city, the area known as Ciudad Lineal (Linear City) was designed by urban planner Arturo Soria (1844 -1920). Off the long, straight tree-lined street that carries his name are primarily residential streets with some small businesses, colleges, restaurants and bars to discover. Young professionals and families are increasingly taking a shine to this green, quiet district.
