i read the reviews first - and i have to agree - this hotel was excellent. relatively close to the airport ($25 taxi). it was quiet and clean with all the nice ammenties (adjustable shower head, plush pillows, kettle) that the best hotels have. the robes were awesome! wore it for my whole stay. pool and gym were great. hotel staff brought up (free) water refills. room service was lovely - as a vegetarian hard to find choices in UAE but this menu was OK. had a lovely stay - hope it keeps up its stellar service as i will defo return. truly an oasis.
Came in very early and had booked via Internet through Expedia the night before . The hotel still had not received full instructions from expedia yet gave me the room .
Exceptional staff service from Reception to bell boys .

The hotel exudes with luxury from the lobby to the different fine restaurants. The suite we stayed in has all what you may think of for your stay except for one thing: internet usage comes at a high charge( I used a roaming data package from my country that cost me less than 20 per cent of the proposed charge). The hotel has its own beach, pools and is annexed to one of the biggest malls. We enjoyed our stay very much.
This is a great hotel well located downtown close to Corniche and Hamdan Street. The gym and the pool are compact but convenient. The rooms were in good condition and contained all that one could need. The staff make this hotel something special - particularly on the front desk.
I have stayed all over Abu Dhabi but my first time in this brand. Will stay again.

We loved it.
The service was fantastic from all staff, they couldnt do enough to assist with whatever you wanted. The hotel was very quiet during the week but livened up on the Thursday night and was busy on Friday and I would imagine Saturday although we left late Friday night so cant say for definite.
We tried Impressions which is the roof top bar and the views were fairly spectacular. We went in on Ladies night so only had to pay for the husbands drinks which saved a fortune (they are eyewateringly expensive - if you want alcohol, buy it at the airport and then top up with mixers from Waitrose round the back on the promenade).
We ate in the Thai restaurant on site after recommendations and had the set meal, which was the right thing to do as it was delicious. Only down side was £5 a bottle for the water!
We went out and about but it was so hot we didnt do much on this holiday compared to others, however we did know that and were prepared with books and stuff to while away our time. The pool deck was lovely, busy on Friday but quiet the rest of the week and the staff were very attentive, particularly for those with children they were really hot on safety in the pool. The freezing cold towels soaked in lavender water were an extra nice touch.
Enjoyed it a great deal but we will return to the area at a different time of year to take advantage of the desert sands and the beaches etc when it isnt so hot - they were absolutely beautiful.
