"The Website was completely misleading. I was under the impression that there was a private beach available, along with restaurants and bars, gym.... It was a small condo complex with NO amenities, NO communication. We had to pay $75 per person per day in order to access beach and use amenities advertised in website. "A beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful, not like the huge resorts further along the coastline. It is quite simple, with a small pool and two small places to eat. The only unfortunate thing was the seaweed, but there is nothing to do about that. They try to clean it up but it is way too much. But the hotel itself is great, we loved our stay!"

"Here’s a polished version that keeps your casual, fun tone while reading a bit more smoothly: The hotel is in the perfect spot on the bay, tucked away from the crowded tourist beaches and constant parade of beach vendors. Most of the restaurants are oceanfront, so nearly every meal comes with an incredible view. And don’t be afraid of the buffet. It actually has some of the best views on the property! The rooms were fresh, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great, the A/C worked perfectly, and everything felt well maintained. As for the food, I’d say it’s decent. Nothing mind blowing, but if you keep your expectations realistic, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. The pool ended up being the highlight of our stay because the sargassum (the never-ending seaweed) unfortunately took away much of the beautiful turquoise water the area is known for. And wow… it can definitely have a strong smell. To be fair, the resort is doing everything they can to manage it and keep guests happy, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re visiting during sargassum season. Overall, we had a great stay and would return. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars."
