"If you’re looking for an affordable, beautiful stay on the beach in a place where the Tulum culture is more preserved, then Nueva Vida is the place to go. It’s very convenient as it’s within walking distance of all the restaurants and night life. They accommodate you well and we felt very safe during our stay there. Booking a room with AC was a must for us, but it only comes on around 8 or 9pm and ends at 8am so if you plan on staying in during the day, it can get pretty hot in your room....

"We had an amazing time. Breakfast was free and delicious, you stay right on a beautiful peaceful beach, a rustic, bohemian feel. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Great area with lots of dining options.it was a paradise. Some cons…there were only 3 hangers, and only one hook for the bath towels. No shower door so the bathroom got quite wet. "We didnt get an upgrade becasue the hotel was fully booked, but we got another amenity instead, which was a great counter offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we were not happy with was the restaurant. There are far better restaurants for dinner in the city which are cheaper and have in our opinion better food. Other than that everything lovely! :) Thanks for making our stay great!"

"Right on the beach. Beautiful landscape and friendly staff. Only thing is no coffee in the rooms and restaurant did not open till 8, but usually could get coffee by 7am. A short bike ride to Tulum ruins. "
