"Booked 2 suites for 2 nights and we stayed with a family of seven. Good experience: room cleanliness, spacious suites that were like a service apartment with each suite having 2 bend rooms a dinning hall entrance sit-out room and 2 bathrooms that were well maintained. Room service was good and they provided bottled water and the staff was very responsive. The food served in the cafe is below par and the idly, chutney, sambar served was the worst i ever had throughout my travel in the last 20...

"We were the only "European" tourists staying in the hotel but were made to feel very welcome. The food was excellent and while relatively expensive compared to some of the local restaurants still very good value. Only down side is that if they have a wedding etc on it can be noisy in the garden rooms and the pool/pool area can be out of use."

"The beach is directly across from the property. The rooms are tidy and beautifully designed. Although the dinner was difficult because there wasn't enough staff and the food was being served quite late, the breakfast was excellent. If you need to go to the markets or temple, it's easy to find transportation. The hotel was reasonably priced and we had a pleasant stay. "

"Checkin did not offer welcome drink nor mentioned it. Overall staff responsiveness was lacking. Called room service at 6:00 AM for coffee and no one answered for a while. When it was answered we were told that they ran out of milk. First time I am hearing a hotel saying they do not have milk which is very basic. "

"Our stay at NRS Royal Palace was memorable. Booking and Checkin process was smooth and the breakfast and other food options were really good.The sea facing rooms are very spacious and balcony provides anazing view of the sea. The best part was location is safe and has a private beach, just cross the street, very peaceful and away from crowd. Local transportation is available right at the Gate for visiting the Holy Temple Or shopping. There are suggestions for improvement for better equipped...

"Very much Over priced. Bathroom roof was broken and mosquito. Priest associated with hotel tells you lie and with transportation device charge you more and then provide you with wrong car. "

"Hotel was not aware of my booking , it took more than a hour to confirm the booking. Hotel dont have a kitchen or restaurant why it was not mentioned while doing the booking through hotels.com team. Hotel staff is very good. For food tea etc faced trouble. If i had booked this room directly had got it on a very cheaper rate then the hotels.com. due to information not given by hotel.com regarding not availability of kitchen at the property, face big problem. No wifi "
