Convenient and easy to locate with the tall raffles city building
Staff were friendly enough but nothing really stood out
Reception said they upgraded my room with my son but the room didn’t have a usb charger - that’s not really an upgrade is it ?
My daughter’s room was on another level and had the necessary chargers but the corridor was extremely smelly . There was a big blow fan on which was very noisy and disturbing
So my room with my son on level 14 ( which she said was an upgrade )didn’t have chargers
My daughters room with her friend on level 22 had the smelliest damp corridor and a noisy blow fan
Was my room really upgraded ? I doubted it and I wish they would tell the truth

Great location, nice pool area, bus stop right outside hotel and 2 different train stations close by one is within a large shopping complex with multiple dinning options

Excellent choice of stay. The bed was great and specious room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of food vendors around the neighborhood. MRT a few blocks from the property. Swimming pool was decent size and clean. We’re happy with our choice to stay at Carlton City Hotel.

Location is excellent--Entrance to MRT is right beside the hotel (don't even need to cross the street or get rained on). It's close to Lau Pa Sat hawker centre, and walkable to the waterfront. Also next to Far East Square with lots of interesting little shops/restaurants. It's 2 MRT stations away from Marina Bay Sands or Garden of the Bay. Walkable to Chinatown and little India. Staff is courteous and helpful.
