We loved our stay at the GA Palace Hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Our room was wonderful. We loved the pool area (even though the floor is very slippery). Our breakfast was amazing. Would definitely go back if we get to Porto again.

Best part of the experience - staff members. From the moment we walked in we felt like we are among family members. Very accommodating, very friendly, very helpful. Good location, unusual style, comfortable beds. The only disappointing part was the swimming pool (or the lack of it). We looked for a hotel in Porto specifically WITH the pool. It states on the website that it has a pool but in fact it doesn't..... Otherwise, very pleasant stay!!!!! Thank you Manuel for great history lessons!!!!

Really liked this hotel and would definitely return. It’s a fairly new hotel about 10 mins away from Porto Downtown area. Beautiful room and staff very friendly. My only concern is that the waiting staff in the restaurant do not speak very good English. First morning our coffees did not arrive. Second morning my omelette did not arrive and bacon, sausage, Frittata were cold due to sitting around for too long. Whilst each time an apology was made I do believe this service can be made much better very quickly. Also on day three I ordered an eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine arrived. Total waste of time and effort. Such a shame the food description had not been correct. Huge thanks to Pablo, Daniella and Patricia Concierge staff who were absolutely first class.

The hotel was fabulous, we had a suite and were travelling with our little one so the extra room was perfect. Check in was seamless and all the staff were super helpful. Location was also top notch.
