I love everything about this place

Very nice. Staff was fantastic. Really needs more entertainment and more food variety. Had construction beside the property but it really didn’t bother us.

Food and drinks were amazing. The staff were so friendly. A very nice quiet resort, amazing pool and lots of beautiful palm trees.

At the Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan, the staff were friendly, accommodating and engaging. The property and decor was clean, beautiful and very well laid out. Our junior suite was on the side of the building and we still had a great view of the plush green gounds and stunning blue ocean. We were extremely disappointed about one thing. At check in they offered to upgrade us for $125 to a king size bed suite. That's how we found out our suite had 2 beds. We didn't take the upgrade and soon found out that the 2 beds were very small (will give Expedia feedback about that). The buffet had a nice variety of food. Breakfast was the best! For dinner we tried 2 of the 5 specialty restaurants, the Steakhouse and the Asian cuisine restaurant. Their food was flavorful and delicious! When we weren't in one of the pools or relaxing poolside, I played bingo and did water aerobic. They were always grilling some of the staple grilled foods plus something special daily. We enjoyed walking along and sitting on the beach and we had so much fun at silent disco, a mini concert with a local band and a musical showcase of Mexican culture. We went to a couple themed parties at a sister Riu property with more drinks and food there as well. For me this was a perfect balance of relaxation and fun.

Overall my experience at Temptation was great!! Staff is amazing! Restaurants were good. The buffet was just ok. She restaurant was good however not sure if it’s worth the price to get the experience. Theme nights were fun! They push to get you to buy their premier package. In my opinion if you plan on returning to the resort the package may be beneficial. The package will pay for itself based on the prices of the rooms without the package. Overall my experience was good I will return. The people were so much fun and had good vibes.

Dear Ava Resort Team, I wanted to share some honest feedback from our recent stay at your resort. Overall, we had a good experience — the property is clean and very beautiful, and we really enjoyed the kayaks that were included with the stay. The à la carte restaurants served very good food, and we truly appreciated both the taste and presentation. However, I was quite disappointed with the buffet experience. Even the most basic breakfast items like bananas, sausages, and bacon were 99.99% of the time missing. What’s surprising is that the same items were available through room service, which made it even more confusing. The lunch and dinner buffets were also very limited, repetitive, and lacked variety — not what you would expect from a resort of this level. Normally, we love exploring buffet options after enjoying the specialty restaurants, but this time, that was a big letdown. Another concern was the kids’ area. Children were not allowed to go and play whenever they wanted — it was only open during a specific “family hour.” For example, when my daughter wanted to go play for a short time outside that slot, it wasn’t allowed. For a family resort, this policy felt quite restrictive and inconvenient. We were actually considering staying at Hard Rock Los Cabos, which is part of the same RCD Hotels group, but after this experience, we’re now hesitant. I truly hope you take this feedback into account because Ava Resort has so much potential — with better buffet variety and more

Great staff, Serenity Club upgrade was well worth it and everyone was super helpful and welcoming. Definitely would recommend to check out the resort!
