I’ve stayed at many RIU hotels around the world, and unfortunately this location fell short of the standard I’ve come to expect. Service was inconsistent. There were no washcloths available for two guests, and when we requested them, we were told the wait time would be several hours. While I understand the policy regarding outside food in the lobby, it was very disappointing that there was no microwave available for guest use. When we asked the café/bakery in the main lobby if we could briefly use their microwave, we were told no because the food was from outside, which felt unreasonable for a hotel of this level. The property itself was clean and well maintained, but service could definitely improve. The all-inclusive breakfast was just okay. A major downside was the lack of chicken options — not all guests eat pork, and more inclusive food options should be considered. Lastly, our arrival experience was extremely frustrating. We arrived early knowing check-in was at 3:00 PM, but we ended up waiting over five hours for a room. Multiple guests, including ourselves, were left waiting and even napping in the lobby. This is unacceptable for an establishment of this caliber. Because of these issues, I’m not sure I would choose this RIU location again for future stays. Breakfast and live music was excellent.

Very nice resort. Food was great and good variety. Very well kept and clean and all the staff is extremely friendly. The only negative thing is I wish they would have had better nightly shows. Nothing too exciting or interesting to go to. But not the end of the world for an otherwise awesome trip. I would recommend

The breakfast menu was fresh & there was a variety of foods that were good. The staff was friendly & very helpful. The rooms could use a little upkeep but it was minor & overall a good stay.

Yes the room was spotless and syaff was very attentive and courteous

The hotel was clean and comfortable but lacked the amenities to justify the cost and they definitely cut corners. For example single ply toilet paper, limited access to water (water in room was 10$ a bottle), cheap sheets and toilet seats. Restaurants are over priced, limited service at the pool, very few towels. The cost and reviews are justified by the location which was excellent. It’s a 3 or 4 star charging 5 star rates.
