To start, check-in was very fast, within less than 1 minute. Staff were friendly and responsive to our requests. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay here again.

The hotel is clean and is a nice stay overall. Staff were amazing and very attentive. My only concerns were the outdated room and showers. Walls were not so thick, we could hear people at midnight coming home, screaming. When showering, the water keeps leaking out and making a mess. Regardless, for a short stay I would stay again.

We booked Sofitel Singapore City Centre last minute after checking into a different hotel and realizing it wasn’t quite right for our anniversary trip. What a blessing in disguise—this hotel exceeded all expectations and became one of the highlights of our entire journey, which also included KL and Langkawi. The property itself is stunning—modern, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and luxuriously comfortable. We especially appreciated the lush bedding, high-end amenities, and floor-to-ceiling windows with city views. Everything feels polished and peaceful, a true urban oasis. The location is unbeatable—right above Tanjong Pagar MRT station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the city. There are also plenty of great cafes, restaurants, and hawker stalls nearby, and it’s just a short walk or quick ride to Marina Bay, Chinatown, and the CBD. But what truly set this stay apart was the outstanding service, especially from Airi at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary special. From warm greetings to thoughtful personal touches, Airi made us feel truly cared for. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression—we honestly can’t thank her enough. We only stayed two nights, but we wish it had been longer. Staff at desk were polite. Thought they may have upgraded us as it was our 40th wedding anniversary but they did not. Useful to have a vegetarian restaurant on 2nd floor apart from them charging for the tap water, wet wipes on table and offering small pot of peanuts insinuating they were complimentary!
