It is a very beautiful and quiet resort, you can tell they are remodeling and putting alot of detail into it. My husband and I were so impressed with how gracious and patient the staff were with us. We just felt cared about. Breakfast is free with a wide variety of fresh food and made to order items. Try the pancakes, they do not disappoint! The grounds are full of fresh flowers and decorative shrubbery. There is a hammock and tree swings right in front of the beach. I felt safe and the villas with the outside showers was the highlight. Get a beachfront villa like we did words can not describe how beautiful the sunsets were.

It is downtown Sukhumvit next door to the Marriott and Hilton so it’s in good company. Right next door to a mall (not a mega upmarket one but nevertheless ok) it’s very convenient. Also train right outside the door too. It is very congested around here though. Clean big rooms, great breakfast (go to the second dining room on F floor) and nice staff. In the mall I recommend the massage place on the top floor - it is excellent. Book ahead.

I had the best time on my first solo trip to Thailand, staying at Avista Hideaway. The staff were so accomodating and just to name a few who I can remember; Daw and Nook from housekeeping, Da, Lisa and Paer, vista and bar staff. So many truly went above and beyond. Food was good, especially the breakfasts. The food options had great varitey. Some critisisms, adult pool needed cleaning more often, i was there eveyday and compared to the other pools, looked less cared for. Limescale build up in the corners of the showers, i know a challenege to het rid of bit compared to the attentiin to detail everywhere else, this stood out. I would definitely reccommend and hope to return in the future.
