This hotel made our anniversary unforgettable! The staff greeted us warmly, and our room had soft lights, a cozy bed, and a balcony with a lovely view.

Counter staff and room service staff as usual is always at their tip top service level which make our stay feel great and comfortable. The only area that they may want to look into it, is the mineral water at room. Upon boiling the mineral water ,the kette seem to stain with white substance after 2-3 times at it base. The other one is "slippers", believe it standarilize size across thus may not fittable for those bigger size feet. Nevertheless thanks to all the staffs for making the stay a pleasant one.

Hotel that showed its age though rooms are still relatively clean. Got an upgrade due to smoking by the previous occupant. But found that it is a double storey unit inconvenient for old folks.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed that none of the hotel staff at the reception desk spoke Cantonese nor English. We resorted to voice translation on the phone, which was very inconvenient. Our reservation clearly indicated 3 adults, and housekeeping arrived with a rollaway cot bed; however, the cot was hard and squeaky. The reservation also indicated special refreshments for this room rate and nothing was provided except for a few cans of soda in the fridge. We were disappointed based on their advertisement and what was actually provided.

They really shouldn’t be called a 5-star hotel. The staffs are nice and friendly but the service is not yet up to the international standard. I would have considered staying there again for work if they could improve their in-room service. Apparently all their restaurants shut down early and their in-room service is outside food delivery service, everything comes in plastic bags. Trust me you don’t see this in any 5-star hotel.

The rooms looked and felt modern and new to me. You could find USB charging ports and LED lights on the bathroom mirror. Besides the modern amenities, the room itself was spacious, with a large round bath tub as well as separate area for shower and toilet. Breakfast served was buffet with both Western and Chinese food like congee and dumplings that you would get in most hotels in China. Now for the area of improvement - My only complaint was the lounge. We had opted to buy the lounge package (Royal Royalty King room) that included access to the lounge during our stay, Having been to a lounge in Hong Kong, I was really surprised the lounge was just another room that looked like a restaurant than a lounge. There were tables and chairs but no comfortable sofas and space that you would expect from a proper lounge. Even the food choice was bad. You only got a tiramisu or strawberry (bite-sized) cakes and slices of watermelons and dragon fruits and that's all. Drinks were self-served from a coffee machine or from tea bags, or u could get a can of coke or a lager from the fridge. There was a bar that had no one. Overall, I think this hotel is worth your money if you need to stay in the area. The staff service was exceptional. I am a Hard Rock pin collector and before I booked the hotel I asked if they would sell any pins there and they not only answered my query but also went to take and sent me pictures of the pins available. I think this was definitely above and beyond.
