Seems noisy. Creaking floors and noise from adjacent rooms. Great restaurant, but they told us it is going seasonal for breakfast starting in October. Marginal gym with view of nothing and charged daily at $34. Expensive valet. Great location and water views,

The worst hotel experience we’ve had in 20 years in North America. No parking! Their website proudly says that Canadians can get 50% off the already crazy $62 parking fee, BUT apparently you have to meet an impressive list of impossible conditions to actually get the discount. What a deal! The staff was extremely unfriendly. We arrived a little early, and the reception guy told us to wait until the proper check-in time. Fair enough. BUT during the next half hour, about 10 American groups/families arrived after us—and every single one of them was checked in before us. What was that?! And why? Because we’re from Canada? Finally, we got to our room. Well... “royal” is definitely not the word I would use. Everything was old and smelled, and the toilet absolutely stunk. Of course, breakfast was not included, and the pitiful little bottle of water in the room cost $6.50. Because apparently even water gets the royal treatment here. They have all those signs proudly talking about how “royal” their guests are. Yeah... they certainly charge you like royalty, but treat you worse than homeless people. If this is what they call the “royal” experience, I’d hate to see the regular one. Attaching the picture of royal towel ;)
