There are four rooms on the premises, and we were located downstairs. We could hear the folks upstairs moving about quite often, and it does feel like the noise was quite loud at times. Could just be the nature of an older home. "

"The property was amazing and comfortable. Definitely enjoyed our stay here for the most part. The rooms were fully equipped with the essentials and were kept in tip top shape. Best part was the kitchen full of complimentary snacks and coffee. Parking also a breeze and easy to understand. "

"The service was excellent, the room was perfect (the splitter/HVAC units on the ground outside the room were a bit noisy - but not unpleasant at least for me - however for future guests, you may want to consider muffling the sound if possible), immaculate, bed was very comfortable, TV was excellent (theatre-grade), the Exec Chef at the Shandaken is definitely "Michelin-grade", outstanding cuisine, complimentary breakfast menu was fantastic, the entire management/service team was/is "top-notch"....
