"The room definitely smelled like mold, we pad for breakfast included but were told that we didn’t when we got there so we starved every morning. Finding food around was also hard bc it’s all resort food. Amenities ok "

"Beautiful grounds and lots of wildlife. Food at the buffets was hit and miss. Steakhouse restaurant was great! Some staff were very polite and helpful, and some seemed like the guests just being there was a burden. Sargassum had made its way past the barrier a couple days into our stay, but the staff worked hard for a few days to get the beach area cleaned."

"Kids pool needs improvement very isolated . Everything was great BUT the restroom in our room had a very BAD smell from pluming and everyone seems they had same complaint. Other than that everything was great ."

"I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at Oleo Cancun Playa All Inclusive Resort. Within hours of arrival, it became clear the property was not safe or as described. The most concerning issue was that our room door did not have a functioning lock, which is a basic safety requirement. There was also no carbon monoxide detector, raising serious concerns about overall safety standards. Shortly after eating at the resort, I became severely ill, to the point where I could not leave the room. I also became aware that other guests were experiencing similar symptoms, which was extremely concerning. I attempted to contact the front desk multiple times, but no one answered, and I was too sick to physically go down for help. We had no choice but to check out within hours of arriving and pay out of pocket to relocate to another hotel. What made this worse was the lack of support—it took over an hour and a half to reach Expedia, and I was disconnected multiple times while trying to get assistance. Despite providing details and evidence, I have still not received a refund, which is extremely disappointing given the circumstances. This experience was not just inconvenient—it felt unsafe. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others."
