A bit of a maze to find rooms, including going outside to use external steps to some rooms. Clean room and helpful staff. The furniture in Reception was a little worse for wear and some of the paintwork could do with a touch up. The welcome cookie was excellent.

Booked an ensuite room but my room didn't have a bathroom and had to use the shared bathrooms. No staff was on site and had to call to check in. Malmaison York
Well located hotel, very walkable to everything. Beware they only have 7 car park spaces (chargeable) and parking locally is very expensive - we street parked and got a bus in and out. Nice bar and restaurant areas. No dairy free yogurt or anything at breakfast but nice fruit and good menu to order ...
