Clean room and bathroom. Renovated. Nice breakfast. Didn’t have wash cloth in the hotel. There is a construction across the street so a little noisy in the morning.

The Grand, York
Although I had apparently booked a standard room it was presented in a very high specification and was more spacious than its m2 rating would suggest. Staff were polished and highly professional at all levels. I knew the breakfast was highly rated but that was exceeded and the venue inspiring.
