The owners very friendly. Great location for shopping at clarks village. Free car parking.
Evening meal was super .
I cannot say enough good things about Mildmay Arms. The staff were very welcoming, the food was excellent, and the tutorial on the game of Skittles was awesome.
A very special historic pub bed & breakfast in the perfect location to visit the Haynes Museum and the Royal Navy Air Arm Fleet Museum. Both exceptional museums.
A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The staff were friendly, the room was a really good size and the food was beautiful. It was super warm the night we stayed, a fan would have made it more comfortable sleep but recognise this is something that doesn't happen often in the UK!
Really friendly, welcoming staff. Nice clean room.
I should have researched distance/travel links to town centre as taxi's were expensive but thats my error and staff/locals in bar tried to help
Not the most luxurious accommodation but honest and quirky . Room had everything you need for a short stay and the food was lovely . Would definitely stay again .
