It was nice to stay in a historical property at a convenient location to watch the Old Faithful. Indeed, we watched its eruption 4 times at different time of the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food options were good. Above all, cannot beat the location - there is a huge benefit of taking the time for watching the geysers and relaxing from staying overnight at this property.

Very easy access to upper geyser basin and old faithful. No wifi in the inn, not a lot of choice food in the restaurant at the inn at the end of the season ( end of September) . Beautiful, old, classic hotel. Right at “Old Faithful” geyser, viewable from the upstairs deck, not to be missed! Our room was in the old area, with the bathroom down the hall. We were aware of this and it was fine for a night or so. The room was nice, and quiet, all wood paneled. The dining room was beautiful and the food was well prepared with good service. A great place in Yellowstone to stay.
