We stayed at Buffalo valley ranch in a nice wagon. It was a very unique experience and was close to a national park. It was next to a river that had a beautiful mountain and river view. We will stay again.
It was such a lovely stay in the wagon. Location was great, in the middle of Grand Teton and Yellowstone NP. The cafe right next to it had great food too. Overall, I’d stay here again when I return to this beautiful city!
The view was absolutely gorgeous and the location couldn’t have been better, but I was very disappointed by the wagon stay. The bathhouse held three bathrooms/ showers that looked like they had never been cleaned. The zipper on the wagon was broken and so much cold air got in at night. Also there was a huge truck full of horse poop that was maybe ten feet away from the wagons. The staff was very nice and every time I called I was met with such kindness.
Loved staying here and can't wait to come back again. Check in and check out staff were very nice and easy to talk to. Even though I live in Wyoming, waking up to the horses being wrangled was amazing! Beautiful area to look and explore! Shared bathrooms were overall clean and maintained. Offering one more bathroom would be helpful, mornings were a bit congested but I have been to facilities that it was much worse. Overall great experience for the whole family and recommended it to friends right after we left!

We stayed in one of the wagons, which was a unique experience...one we would do again.
Showers weren't the best, but it is a working ranch. Food at the cafe was pretty good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Whilst we were there it rained overnight, but we weren't worried about rain getting into the wagon, and in point of fact - it was so relaxing listening to the rain on the wagon's canopy.
Overall, we would recommend this unique experience!

We knew that this would be more like a camping experience so keep that in mind. It is not "glamping". Our family stayed in a wagon. It was a great experience. Basketball hoop, lodge with a pool table, a restaurant on site. The views were beautiful! The beds were comfortable. The horses coming in and going out at night were so fun to watch. My only issue was the bathrooms. Even for a campground these were really rough and we camp quite a bit. Two nights was the perfect amount for us!
Bathrooms were extremely dirty, and the pillows and blankets seemed used and unwashed. The stagecoach also looked like it had not been cleaned or swept before our stay, and the heater was malfunctioning. The location has a very nice view though.

The tents we stayed in were functional at best. No pillows provided with linens which were offered for a fee. Bathrooms were closed that were nearby. No enforcement of quiet time in that area, many people were sleeping in their cars, so engines were running, loud conversations overheard .
Tents were poorly maintained, and ability to close them were impossible. Altho checking staff were friendly, there could have been more attention to details and customers comfort
I rented a tee pee which was basically tenting for a very high price. When you get there you need to pay extra for sheets blankets and towels. No pillows are available. Tee pees are in poor condition, mine had rips and door did not close properly. Grass is way overgrown, and animal feces in front of the tee pees. Went to cafe, and they would not give us any water so we had to use our own. Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. One toilet filled with waste, other toilet had too small a seat on the toilet. Showers very dirty, and out of soap. This place is way overpriced, and not worth the money. You would be much better off camping in grand Teton. The only good thing is the view was nice, but you can get that in the park. Oh, and they want to upcharge for horse rides you can get cheaper elsewhere. Staff was not friendly either. I would not recommend this place.
We stayed in a wagon which was fun but quite cold even with the heater on. The communal bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, but the customer service there was excellent.
lovely cafe and staff very friendly. But be prepared-if you rent a teepee, you are roughing it. Bring warm clothes, extra blankets and/or sleeping bag for cold temps. The mornings are chilly. Also, I advise that you bring a headlamp or bright flashlight or lantern for the interior. The food at cafe was great. I did not think the coffee was good at all, so skip that or bring your own. I loved that I got a cup and they allowed refills for soda. They ran the horses in the morning which was super fun and was amazing to watch. Real ranch/cowboy experience!!!
The staff is wonderful, cheery, attentive and work hard. I appreciate their kindness and great service in the cafe and at the check in desk. I appreciate that they greeted me each and everytime I encountered them.
I will mention the only drawback for me was that the bathroom was gross-toilet clogged, floor very wet which is a safety hazard for anyone. There was a lot of mud and water and the showers were ok but slightly yucky and I kinda wanted to take a hot shower after five miles of hiking but decided not to. I would suggest maybe that the bathroom be monitored often for clean up and some soft touches be put in the ladies room-some pictures maybe? color? the ceiling had insulation hanging out of it and was unsightly. Also, it would be super cool if more adirondack plastic chairs were available for campers to hang out in. Also, a charging station for phones in cafe would be cool so I could check my weather app.
we had driven from Ohio and were pretty tired upon arrival but had a nice meal and was able to book another night so we were able to enjoy hiking before leaving and finding a campsite. very nice staff.
Such a unique stay, we were upgraded from the teepee to the covered wagon for electricity, it also had a heater but we didn’t need - it got chilly but the blankets were warm enough. Had a good dinner with drinks at the onsite restaurant, very convenient! We were up and going too early to grab coffee.
