"I am not one to write reviews but after my experience I wanted to leave feedback in hopes that the property improves. The staff was rude on check-in and not at all attentive to our needs. The biggest thing was the air conditioner: we arrived in the middle of a heat wave and informed the staff that the ac was not working. A member of their staff informed me on the first night that they would set the temp (requested 20C) which did not happened and me and my partner were not able to sleep. The following morning, a different staff member informed me that “it was not possible and that all hotels in Madrid had to be set to 24C”…this was of course not true because on that evening I got a call from yet another staff member in the front desk informing me to move rooms with a working unit since ours was clearly broken. Now, I do appreciate their attempt to remedy the situation but for that much money I do not appreciate the dishonestly they used on two separate occasions. I’ll reiterate that I do not aim to deter people from booking this hotel but instead to let the staff know that we were deeply disappointed in our experience."
