Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Awful place to find, I was walking and got there on the 3rd try after over an hour from the bus stop Nobody there Terrible smell in the room, opened all the windows No hot water for the shower Asked me to move after one night as they had yard work going on I left after one night, no refund!! Do not stay here :-(

The place is clean and nice. If you like the feeling of a sort of ryokan in the woods where deer walk through the garden, you might like it. Note that there are no staff on site and the only option to cook is a microwave. The place is best for people with their own transport who do not want to cook but want peace and quiet in a forest. It is up in the woods behind Yamanakako, further back than the map in Expedia makes it seem. If you find the Yamanakako Village Office on the map, trace west southwest past the junior high school and “Private Villa Glamping”, it is about 1km further along. It actually is in Apple Maps but only in Japanese characters. If you message them via Expedia 24 hours in advance and give them your whatsapp, they can help guide you.

鍵の開け方、特に暗証番号の押し方が難しかったです。仕組みが最初はわからずスタッフの方に来ていただきました。 それと暗証番号一度間違えるとエラー音が鳴るのとしばらく待たないとやり直しが効かない。宿泊そのものは問題なしです。 最後に宿泊施設そのものは関係ないですが山中湖沿いの大通りから来ることをおすすめします。荒れてる山道通って、車のホイールに傷が、、
