We picked this hotel at random whilst travelling towards Norwich just expecting an ordinary little pub. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to a roomy room with a large en suite. Also deciding to have dinner we were served a beautifully presented meal which would compete favorably with many of the restaurants in the area and beyond. The staff were friendly and well versed in the history of the area.

I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. I was looking for a one night stay close to Diss for the 2017 Organ Festival. I searched on proximity and price and Hazel Barn met my requirements. For a bed and breakfast Hazel Barn far exceeded my expectations. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast provided was absolutely superb.
