"We have stayed here three times and really like it. The rooms are lovely and cosy with tea/coffee and fresh milk. The staff are very friendly and the food we had - fish and chips and breakfast was all good. "

"Misleading check in time. Arrived three hours early to be told we could either sit in the coffee bar for the remaining time or pay £140 to have a glorified swim. The room was dated and in poor repair with paint peeling in places and lights taped up. The inclusive breakfast was delicious however, in the 40 minutes we were there the cooked breakfast was not offered and things we not topped up unless asked. Could be absolutely wonderful if it was handled by staff with better customer service. "

"We went for a weekend with our cavapoo. TBH had little treat box, dog towel and little sleeping mat. We brought many of our own things but nice to make him feel welcomed. We had a great stay. The staff were incredibly helpful..walking routes, getting us a table for dinner. We had lovely drinks every evening at the bar with a very large fire and our dog with us. The food was very good..breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed eating at other establishments in Midhurst too. We didn’t use the Spa but it looked nice. Would definitely come back. "

"We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "

"Mould around windows, door didn't lock properly, windows didn't open and close properly. Breakfast was passable but overall, not a good experience."
