"Everything was well until. I witness the general manager speaking about and peeking out a window looking at my spouse and children. He spoken very disrespect and rudely about my spouse not knowing he and the children where my family. We were offered a free night and thought that was nice. I’m interested in a refund. He’s behavior was unacceptable, in a public lobby, heard by my daughter, myself and staff."

"I had to change rooms right away due to room conditions that did not inspire confidence in cleanliness. Flickering bathroom light, 8+ tears in wallpaper, bedside electric plug was filthy. New room was far better, but one trash wasn't empty and the overall experience was just jarring, and I am not usually that picky on this sort of thing. My standards are reasonably low. Staff was very nice. They have food for purchase and are close to some decent restaurants if you want delivery."

"We love this place, including the great restaurant with views of the river outside. Our only suggestion is that the beds are too high for a short person to get into easily. Very comfortable once one is in the bed, however."

"Amsterdam Hotel is very conveniently located and very reasonably priced. The rooms, carpets, bedspreads etc. are a little shopworn, but everything is clean, efficient, and the staff is very friendly."

"Friendly, pet friendly, nice place. The lobby was a very nice place to sit and have coffee by the fireplace. The only negative was I didn't like that the buffet breakfast was $14.95 pp. It was nothing special. So I did not eat anything before driving long distance. "
