We highly recommend the Covered Bridge Inn! Our room was clean and comfortable. One of the staff, Sue, went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. She was friendly, engaging, and just simply delightful. Sue obviously loves being in the hospitality business and it shows in her smile and actions! Great place at a reasonable price.

The room was clean and comfortable and climate control worked well. The pet fee was reasonable, BUT there needs to be more parking lot lighting to make it safe to walk dogs, and there needs to be a trash container for bagged pet waste. The lack of lighting was a BIG problem. Only one working outdoor light on the far end of the building.

The staff was helpful and kind, even asking if we needed help with our luggage. The room was very clean and spacious. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was a lot of variety, and tasted good. We found out you are a pet friendly motel, so on our next trip, we can bring our dog! A big plus!!!

Clean hotel and a nice location.

This was a nice hotel to stay at when we visited Winterset. The hotel was extremely clean. Spotless. Breakfast was nice and no problems during our stay. We were able to easily drive to see all of the Covered Bridges in the area from this hotel.
