"This property is across the freeway from the busy shopping center and away from the noise and traffic. It is a clean property, the rooms are always clean and comfortable and have everything you need, from the bathtub and blow dryer to the refrigerator and coffee maker and microwave. Quality linens, newer appliances, spacious rooms, smells clean and fresh, ample closet space with several hangers. Large table or desk area with chairs for dining in room. Toni's 24 hour restaurant is right down the street, which is one of the only places open after 10pm. The staff is usually friendly and helpful and professional. Hot breakfast served from 6:30-9:30 am which i wish went til 10am, but theres cereal. Waffles, croissants, bagels, toast, coffee, juice, milk, fruit and a vending machine. Reasonably priced for the area and amenities, ample, well lit, free parking, handicapped accessible. My first choice on a budget. Third party booking is often cheaper than booking at the hotel-pro tip. "

"This hotel has amazing potential - but it needs significant work on the basic conditions. It is over 100 years old and in need of a full restoration of all basic infrastructure and all new FF&E. It is not appropriately priced for the condition. I for one, would love to be a GM of the restoration and see what would be possible. "

"Ultra comfy bed, but odd shower with low water pressure and not-quite hot water. Very noisy people upstairs. Weird virtual check-in, difficult to understand the very thick accent, but he was helpful enough."

"Best hotel.I've stayed at on our entire vacation.I wish I would have had more days here. everything was amazing.The rooms were absolutely amazing.The showers were amazing.The beds were amazing super comfortable. even if the hall smelled like smoke, the rooms did not at all. They were extremely clean. i will be planning on coming back here and taking my wife and my mother in law. it was just me and my two boys and I couldn't have been more happy with this place.Even the pool and spa were amazing. hands down the best hotel.I've been to on the california coast. "We fish this area a couple times a year and this place is perfect for a couple of guys who fish 12 hours days for 3 days and need a clean place to sleep. Staff has alway been great, and rooms always clean, don’t leave any thing your car of value, because it won’t be there in the morning. "
