"Simply a great hotel, my wife & I are ‘older’ and this a young vibe place but we loved it, great view, accessible location, rooftop bar, good gym. Next time in DC I wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

"I told myself "at least it's cheap!" because the photos looked horrifying, but the Windsor Inn is quiet, charming, and the photos don't do it justice. No elevator might bother some folks, and having a bathroom sink in the sleeping area was strange, but the shower was clean with good water pressure. Wi-Fi was reliable with a secure network. Front desk staff was very friendly and held my luggage for a few hours after checkout. Neighborhood is serene and beautiful with some cheap food options (Bandit Taco) nearby. Can't beat it for the price!"

"The Bar Staff were not very efficient . Paid with cash, and got $60 1 dollar bills back. Expressio machine did not work in the room."

"We had stayed at the Morrison Clark twenty years ago and it was even better than we remember! Gorgeous historic property beautifully maintained and decorated with lovely instrumental music playing in lobby and beautiful restaurant. Everyone from doorman to front desk to bartender were friendly and courteous! Lovely center patio/garden area. We can’t wait to return!"

"Clean rooms"

"Overall it’s fair to stay there. First of all, it’s our first family trip to DC, and we don’t really know the hotel doesn’t offer on site parking until we got there for check in. So we had the valet parking for the staying days and tipped the driver after checked out. Basically it’s $200 extra. Well, we do understand the hotel locates in the city, so it’s kind of fair. Secondly, the carpets in the room is pretty old and dirty, it has stains that could be seen. So I let my kids have their shoes on most of the time. The room keeper did the great job, at least the towels were clean. If the boss can upgrade the carpets and more, I would like to give another chance to stay here when we visit DC again. Thanks!"
