Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort
I always love this little hidden gem in Ft Lauderdale. The only con is the staff in the kitchen. They are often very rude each stay so far.

Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort by Vacatia
Very close to the beach which is great. But the hotel is very outdated. One of two elevators stopped working one day. Overall, we appreciated the hospitality and the closeness to the beach.

TropiRock A North Beach Village Resort Hotel
My door was not secure. It had been kicked in many times and had been repaired. I could see light around the entire door frame. I did not feel safe there. It was close to the beach though.

I would never rent this property, we had an EXTREMELY unsafe SECURITY BREACH issue, when our code opened the room door and there were people in the room, so both codes worked to the door that was supposedly our room.
