"We stayed at KDV resort in mid March. The good: The room was mostly clean, we did find a sock under the bed. The high ceiling made the room feel larger than it was. There was a mostly unobstructed view of the lake and dam from our balcony. We enjoyed fishing and playing pickleball at the tennis court. The breakfast smorgasbord was very good and reasonably priced. The server was very nice and helpful. Not so good: both doors to the room were not sealed well at the bottom and light and cold air got in. If it was summer, bugs would have got in. The bathroom sink would not drain and we ended up using the bathtub for brushing teeth and washing hands. We reported the problem to the front desk on our first night and no one ever came to fix it or to call us about it. No staff asked or offered to clean our room during our 3 night stay. We had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper, coffee, tissue, soap, at the front desk on two occasions. It seemed like the staff didnt want to do alot because it was the off season and they may have been shorter staffed. It would have been nice to receive a map of the property to check out the different areas of the resort. Overall rating is a 3."

"Stayed here for an extended visit and had a genuinely great experience. The hotel was extremely clean throughout, from the rooms to the common areas, which made a big difference day to day. The staff really stood out, everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the place well maintained and making guests feel comfortable. Overall, a smooth, stress free stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or staying longer-term."

"The bed was very comfortable, better yet, the pillows were superb! The breakfast was surprisingly decent. It’s the most expensive hotel in that area, but it was worth the money. Highly recommend."

"We stayed in the annex. This would be great with a group of friends or family. No great for people that may have a problem with stairs. We had two floors and two kitchens. Lots of room to be together or room to be a lone. "
