Exceptional room with a view good breakfast welcoming great shower

We were looking for peace, beautiful landscapes and a luxurious bedroom with view and we got it all.

Absolutely breathtaking! Booking this place was a fantastic decision. The cottage is splendid and offers an unparalleled view. Our goal was to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Iceland, and this spot did not disappoint. The surroundings make you feel like you're in a nature lover's paradise. Highly recommended!

Friendly, well kept small hotel with lovely lounge/bar and dining area. Spacious bedroom and bathroom and good breakfast.

Everything was of a highstandard, spotlessly clean, comfortable. Had everything needed for your stay. Superb location. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We got our timing wrong and had to arrive very late - the hosts were very nice and arranged everything so we could arrive very late. Breakfast was great! A lovely variety and very nice!

A really reasonably priced stay in a really lovely guest house. Breakfast included and the rooms and bathrooms spotless and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Really lovely place to be. The interiors are rustic, and feel like I'm staying at a someone's house. Not a bad thing at all though! We also enjoyed being greeted by a friendly cat (the cat was the star of the show). I would LOVE to come back and stay again. The area is beautiful and this would be a lovely place to use as a base to explore from.

We loved the family atmosphere and hospitality. Clean rooms , nice and bright very comfortable beds , use of fridge and microwave . Loved the hot tub through a path in a wooded area , great even in the rain . Even a piano to play

Staff in the hotel were all pleasant and helpful, and rooms were nice and comfortable. I opted not to eat in the restaurant as I thought I'd be pushed for time to have breakfast before some of the organised tours starting at 8am, and generally decided to eat elsewhere in Reykjavik for dinner. Location wise, it's a quiet road just at the eastern edge of downtown, so just a few minutes walk away from various shops and restaurants. Also about 5 minutes walk from bus stop #12 which seems to be one...

Lovely hotel with small bathroom for such a good sized room . Food excellent

Lovely property! Wish we had better weather to be able to utilize all the amenities! We arrived 4 hours before check in and they were able to accolade us quickly. Geothermal Hot tuba were amazing! Only thing; bistro and restaurant on site are extremely expensive and not a huge selection. These are the only two food establishments for 5.6km - so plan accordingly. Standard Rooms do have a small fridge but do not have a microwave or anything to heat up food if you’re thinking of bringing your own
