"We really enjoyed our time in our static bus. The views of the mountain were superb, and it was nice to be able to walk some way up the side of it, to about 150 m. I could have gone higher if I was suitably equipped. The bus itself was well equipped, though the kettle took a long time to boil. We planned our hot drinks well in advance. Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Clean room and great location"

Hotel Viking

10/10 Excellent

"The Viking hotel was a wonderful experience. Fantastic breakfast, wonderful staff support and comfortable accommodations. There is construction so parking is tight and you may have to park next to the restaurant instead of in front of the hotel. The television signal was also impacted by the wind, but it was a great place to stay."

Hotel Reykjavik Saga

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel! So conveniently located to several bus stops and walking distance to restaurants and shops downtown. The staff was so lovely. Maybe my only negative (and it’s minor) was that the light switches were a little challenging to navigate. But staff came to help me figure them out. Definitely worth staying at."

Reykjavik Marina - Berjaya Iceland Hotels

8/10 Good

"The proximity to downtown was great. The room although getting tired looking was clean. We found the staff both at check in and check out extremely accommodating. The one issue I had was breakfast was definitely not worth the price. The choice and quality was good but it was not worth 100.00 Canadian for two!"
