"I have now stayed at the Echo Lodge in West Sacramento 4 times in the last 2 months and have stayed in 3 different rooms. It has quickly become my favorite affordable motel in the Sacramento area. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, everything works, and it is surprisingly quiet. Today when I walked into the office, she not only recognized me, she had already pulled up my reservation in the computer. She welcomed me back and handed me my key. I can't recall anything like that ever happening at any other motel I have stayed at. It was as if she welcomed me home to my second home. Now to be clear, this is an old school motel from a time long past. It is dated and has its quirks, but that is part of it's character. It isn't trying to compete with the fancier hotels, but it blows away every motel 6 I have stayed at in the area. It is definitely my new home away from home."
