Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. "Nice welcome. Ground floor looks great. Bar area and staff good. Bar meal was good with fresh baked bread. Ashley in wellness centre looked after us, very professional. Breakfast was good. Room comfy, no noise, just a little dated for price charged."

"Pleasant hotel. The room advertised as a luxury double room is not the one you would get so upgrade to a suite if you want a balcony. They also have some strange arrangements for the sauna, which is about 20 euro per visit extra, which is annoying as most reasonable hotels let you use the sauna when you wish at no extra cost. The restaraunt is okay though. Staff are nice. Good comfortable bed, good shower and above adequate toileting."

"Beautiful property (could use a little bit of refreshment - hallway rugs are very worn in part of the hotel), but the rest is great. Staff was amazing and helpful. We had a wonderful four course dinner and the breakfast was nice too."
