"I NEVER right reviews but this is more than worthy. We were attending a wedding and stayed 2 nights. My family stayed in 2 rooms, 240 & 238.
Both rooms had roaches!
I was actually able to get a picture in room 238. My teenage kids in room 240 saw roaches in the bathroom but did not get pictures. We weren't in the rooms until late night, so i did not catch it until the last night around midnight. I did show the manager on duty the next morning the picture of roaches. I was told to contact Hotels.com. We were given a total of $50 credit from the hotel! Ridiculous! Hotels.com decided to match that, totaling $100 on a $600 expense! I spoke to the Corporate Hotels.com and they were not accommodating. They wanted to give me points, which I refused because we don't travel often and this was a special occasion. They gave me 2 options, take the points or refuse and close the case. Wow! I tried calling the manager at the hotel as well, I was always told to call at a certain time. Although, every time I called it just so happen that I missed her or she was not there. Supposedly she is the sole mage of the establishment. So when I asked to speak with someone higher up, no one is available. Very convenient for them!
I'm writing this review a couple weeks later because I was hoping for a better outcome prior to me writing a review. I was told by a Hotels.com agent that roaches in the room aren't that big of a deal to escalate for a refund more than $50!"
