Possibly the biggest room we have ever seen in a hotel! This room was massive! A huge kitchen, giant bathroom plus an extra toilet. Really great facilities including a huge, swivel TV. Brilliant view over the park and river. The room was meticulously clean and the hotel was very well presented. An excellent stay, would certainly recommend for larger families

Great hotel in an excellent location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Great hotel! Wish I had stayed a little longer- had to leave at 4am for flight. Complementary shuttle was huge bonus.

Basic but did the job!

Beautifully well kept hotel and front plaza. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Basel. With free fruit and coffee, tea and fruit juice. the hotel is only a tram ride away from the centre.

This is one of the best hotels I stayed in terms of customer service. We stayed there as a family in June 2015 with small kids. The hotel even offers an audio guide to explore it. Rooms: Rooms are split across two buildings, depending on whether you go for "style" or "art" rooms - we were swapped to an art room, which was really impressive to experience,...

Clean and well maintained hotel. Veey good breackfast

I was given a room on the top floor. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. As someone who works from their hotel room the desk arrangement isn’t ideally suited to that but I made it work. The restaurant was fabulous food and drinks and clearly was a destination spot for locals which meant there was a really buzzy atmosphere. There was also a wet bag in the room for those who swim in the river but I used it for my gym gear. Tea and coffee facilities are outside the room on the...
