"Booked a last minute trip for our anniversary. Definitely an older hotel. The check in desk employee was not friendly. Older than the pictures seem. No ice machine. If you want ice - you have to go to the kitchen and sale the kitchen staff. We couldn’t go near the water - it was blocked off. I was charged an extra fee of $38 after we left. I have called, left messages and have not received any information back as to what that charge was for. "

"I am in Kelowna to be with my partner while he's in hospital. Sandman staff is compassionate, helpful and timely with requests and questions. My rooms have been perfectly clean, easily accessed and comfortable to rest in. The pool is clean, the hot tub is large enough for multiple people and the dining is super close for those with mobility challenges. Sandman had been so kind, taking much of the stress of this journey away and letting me feel human. Thank you so.. so much to everyone that has helped me these last 10 days. I'll be here longer than this.. but they have been so accommodating and I do look forward to telling my friends and family how cared for I was by this hotel staff. Thank you everyone, from every piece of my heart."

"It’s seems the hotel is falling into disrepair, two ice machines in the hotel both are broken/out of order. The staff sadly acknowledged that they’re being replaced but they didn’t sound optimistic. Basically the owners aren’t investing any money into the building and it shows. It’s cheap, but should be even cheaper for what you’re getting. Would not recommend"

"Parking is limited with asking for resort fees for nothing so the value goes down!"

"The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Kelowna is a high crime city compared to where we originate and we had a small issue with a non-guest trying to gain access to our room.( break in) . The staff quickly remedied the situation by adding more security features to the room window. They did offer to move us as well but we declined as we were happy with the fix. The hotel is great value , with a full kitchen and in a great location. Its not safe to walk around at night in kelowna though."
