Staff were excellent, immediately gave me another room when there was a problem with my initial room on check in. Also, all staff a ted in a professional manner when the hotel had to be evacuated after the roofers started a small fire... I was even directed to a nearby pub for lunch whilst waiting ...

You get what you pay for but what there is was decent. Loses a mark for mould marks on shower ceiling but cannot fault rest of hotel. Breakfast very basic but what food there was hot and edible and the bar/restaurant area is lovely.

Modern and clean hotel - bedroom well appointed and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Great location for the town centre and the Crucible! Breakfast felt a bit scrappy - lot of tables were left with dirty plates etc and a few items seemed to have run out and not been replaced. We visited the bar twice ...
