"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. "One nights stay in a double room with a hot tub. Had a great stay, exceptionally warm welcome from the lovely gentleman in the hut on arrival to car park, concierge and reception. Lovely a glass of fizz and the little tour of facilities. Room was really clean, loved the little spa basket of towels and slippers. The room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the pub and spa, no noise noted. The hot tub gave great views of the tree tops, which with autumn colours was amazing to look at my cheeky dip this morning with a brew. Enjoyed a cocktail in the terrace bar, which was great"
