"We had a lovely stay at Beech Hill Hotel. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they were always attentive. We were also lucky enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade on arrival, which was a really nice surprise! We had both breakfast and an evening meal at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed both. The facilities were great too. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely come back. Thank you to all the staff at Beech Hill for making our stay so lovely!"

"Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel."

"Nice hotel in a great location between Windermere and Bowness. Hotel was clean, well maintained with basic amenities including a bar, car parking, and a restaurant for breakfast. We chose a basic ground floor room with a king size bed, en-suite with a shower. The room was clean and comfortable and suitable for our needs. An excellent breakfast was served daily. With options of full English, Salmon, pancakes, cereals, fruits and breads to choose from. All in all an affordable comfortable hotel in a great location."

"Stayed whilst visiting the Lakes. Hotel was perfect for us as a family with children age 10 to 16. The buffet breakfast was a good selection, children loved the pancake machine. We also loved the pool, you had to pay extra but I felt this was worth it, the pool was a good size and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi nice for adults to relax. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, nice reception area with lovely open fire to sit by."

"Beautiful hotel, but the leisure facilities were disappointing The Grange is a beautifully decorated hotel with a lovely atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the carvery, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat spoiled by a large coach party staying at the hotel. The behaviour of some of the children was particularly poor, especially around the swimming pool, which made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing experience. The pool changing rooms were also rather cramped and could benefit from more space. Overall, there is a great deal to like about this hotel, particularly its attractive interiors and excellent food. However, better supervision of the pool area and improvements to the changing facilities would make a significant difference to the guest experience."

"This stay was for our Honeymoon. We were greeted by lovely staff very helpful with getting the app that helps give us free drinks and other perks. The room was lovely spacious with a lovely fire that kept things cosy and romantic. The facilities in the room were fabulous love the team and coffee with all the biscuits and hot chocolate was delicious bed was huge and comfy. Breakfast we really enjoyed there was help yourself elements toast tea an coffee cereals yoghurt and pastries then you could order cooked food love this better then luke warm buffet breakfast that you get at many places. Food in the evenings was also delicious had some fabulous food service was great to friendly staff so helpful and informative too thank you for helping make our Honeymoon so special to us both."
