"We stayed on the ground floor of a lodge. The apartment was lovely with an enormous lounge with a great log effect gas fire - much appreciated in May! The bed was comfy and shower very good. The buffet breakfast was plentiful but you do need to get there early as it can run out of some things. "

"I was in the area for work and was extremely fortunate to choose Hotel Etico for my stay. I arrived fairly late in the evening to a beautiful old Manor with a magnificent stately feel. My room was spacious and was very comforting. It was wonderful to set myself up in the Library and complete some office tasks at the end of the work day and to later sit by the fire in the dining room. I shared some wonderful conversation with the staff and was absolutely delighted with my stay. I can’t wait to be working in the area again and am already looking forward to my next visit. Special thanks to all the staff, but especially Cleo, Katie, Natasha and Michael, whom all made my stay more memorable. "

"This property although it was very old suited our purpose for our stay, we just needed a clean bed and somewhere to shower. Where it is situated is right on a lighted intersection and trucks and other traffic had to stop or start off again. After a few nights we became somewhat acclimatised to the noise which was very loud most mornings and evenings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. "
