They couldn’t find my reservation at first and my card was already charged, however finally figured it out. Breakfast was poor , coffee bad. Rooms have been updated recently so were fine.
Good, clean place, tough neighborhood, was worried about my vehicle, rooms are facing outdoors. Breakfast was very limited, cereal, and a wafflemaker, that's about it.
Main front desk person was helpful and caring but furniture in room was broken and had ants, included breakfast was VERY limited and had ants.
I would not recommend this hotel and it felt overpriced in hindsight.
Place is average. Was good for 1 night. You could hear the outdoor traffic so if you looking for a quiet room that’s not going to happen at least ours wasn’t. You could see the outdoor lights through the door. I’m a heavy sleeper so I eventually zoned the noise out. Rooms seem to be updated but sheets seemed a bit old and worn out. The coffee breakfast area could have been cleaner so we didn’t bother. Place serves its purpose.
The property was clean and safe. The room I had was overrun with ants in the bed and in the bathroom towels inside the bathroom and on the tub. The ants crawled on me in the bed. They must be in the mattress or walls or both. Just annoying.
I missed window for breakfast by just a bit. I saw a gentleman pouring himself coffee at the breakfast bar and noticed the cereal was still out. I pourd my self about two handfuls and was about to leave when I was stopped by the desk clerk who acted as though I was stealing his personal property and forced me to throw the cereal away before allowing me to leave. Neve, have I stayed at a hotel that employed cereal police to enforce the breakfast hours. Thankfully my checkout was the same morning. I will NEVER stay at a Day's Inn again.
