We were there for the Ironman event and it was great stay. Super close to the event, the room was super clean and comfortable.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waco Downtown by IHG
First, it’s a beautiful newer property that’s well maintained. The bed was sooooo comfortable with great pillows. The front desk staff gal was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

OYO Hotel Waco University Area/ I-35
When I arrived to check into my room, I was told that they were unable to check anybody in because of a sewage condition. I was not alerted of this before my arrival. I had to scramble at the last minute and find another place to stay.

Rodeway Inn
Room was clean. Easy and fast check in. Great location and close to food and shopping. Refrigerator was nice and cold. Will stay again. Only 2 pillows for each bed. We did not ask if more were available.

They are taking the money for reservations and when you show up and see this nasty, disgusting place, they tell you that the city of Waco has shut them down and they will cancel your reservation so you can get your refund.
