"It was absolutely fantastic. An old Villa transformed in a boutique hotel with great personality. It is like to be at home but even better! Many languages are spoken there! Rooms are gigantic and furniture is practical yet with a neat design, although the rooms look very romantic. "Ich habe auf einer Velotour dort übernachtet. Hotel liegt direkt an den Velorouten 5 und 8. Mit viel Style renoviertes Gebäude. Self Check-in funktionierte bestens. Restaurant im Gebäude. Extrem ruhig in der Nacht, direkt am Aare Ufer. "

"Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber! Wir fanden es etwas kühl im Zimmer, konnten aber die Heizung etwas aufdrehen und dann wurde es besser. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das Nachtessen und die Küche sind gehoben und sehr lecker."

"I like the vicinity to train station and Altstadt shopping and restaurants. The hotel lacks a few safety features in the Bathroom area like unsave bathtub ie could use rubber mats or hand rails. The Bar/Restaurant on street level is excessively noisy (music - low level base) at weekends Friday/Saturday up to 4AM."
