We have just returned from a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for a lot of tastes. The hotel was very well located for an easy walk into the old town. Plenty of nice restaurants to try nearby. We would not hesitate to recommend the Pousada de Viseu and hope to return ourselves one day.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a quieter area of Viseu surrounded by water fountains, a lovely church and a simply wonderful park with an abundance of wildlife. Great selection of close restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Vintage restaurant just a 2 minute walk. The owner is a real charmer.
The staff at Avenida are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean.

This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail.
