"The Alt Hotel St Johns was perfect for our stay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants with a beautiful view of the harbour. It is very convenient the parking is attached (sometimes parking was scarce but I always found a spot). The hotel is always clean, and the staff are super friendly! It was really nice to have a quick breakfast spot in the lobby, great service and great coffees!"

"I didn't have any real issues with this hotel. It's a nice place and in regards to facilities... it's what you expect from most nicer hotels. Rooms are nice... there's a restaurant... fitness center... pool... etc. etc. etc. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The location is convenient as it's right beside the downtown area and you can see the harbour! The only caution I will give is that the parking lot is very busy! While we were able to park there every night of our stay... one night I had to park in an area of the lot that technically wasn't a marked parking spot. Also wish there was breakfast included. My understanding is the only people who are provided breakfast are those who stay in the club house rooms at the top floor of the hotel. You can pay to get access to breakfast but the charge is some huge fee that didn't sound worth it."

"Clean room, quiet area. We were on the 1st floor, street level on the harbour side. Lobby is on the fourth floor on the other side of the hotel. Easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants."
