Island goer

Hotel was easy to find off of the Vineyard Haven SSA port. I took my car over. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a full kitchen and living room for all guests to use. Small fridge in the room. Room and beds were small, but that is what we selected. Plenty of parking also.

Overall it was a good stay. The rooms could use some updating for sure - the curtains had holes in them and the furniture was outdated. With that said, everything was very clean and staff was friendly. Our room was ready early which was great. The one downside was that the hotel was not able to hold our luggage after checkout which made the rest of the afternoon difficult logistically while we were waiting for the ferry.

I had a very nice stay at this resort. My room was clean and everything in the room and the amenities of the room were just as advertised. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. I loved that the resort was close to the ferry and centrally located to many restaurants, ice cream shops and stores. I did not use any of the kitchen facilities but it was nice to know that it was there if I needed it.

My wife and I stayed at Harbor Landing for two nights around Father’s Day. We had a small room with two twin beds. This worked great for a couple nights, but I wouldn’t recommend a small room like that for much longer than. What worked great was the location: right at the end of the main drag of Vineyard Haven (Main St). So it’s a fairly bare bones place, but there is a good community kitchen, a nice roof deck, a common grill area, and a small lounge with a great TV. There was not much to the room itself. Only a couple outlets, which already had a lot of stuff plugged in. Window AC was functional but fairly noisy. Very small bathroom, but a great shower with fantastic water pressure. We didn’t really see the staff much, but they did call us the day before arrival, to see which boat we were coming in on. And they let us check in 5 hours early, which was absolutely great. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the manager was great. So I would recommend Harbor Landing if you want a great location and you don’t mind kind of roughing it. We enjoyed our stay a great deal.
