"The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff were very helpful, breakfast was good value though carb heavy. Overall ok, but would not stay again for a few reasons. The hotel is very tired and in need of a refurb - especially the drainage which did not smell great. There is no pool - they have a spa but on Hotels.com it clearly says pool which was a disappointment as I swim for my rebuilt shoulder - appreciate the sea is right there for most people but I lane swim. This iconic Belle Époque landmark (a true piece of history that inspired Fellini) exudes elegance and charm from every corner. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed with that perfect mix of classic style and modern comfort. But the breakfast… oh my! Easily the best breakfast ever — a lavish, gourmet spread in stunning historic halls with everything from fresh pastries and made-to-order dishes to an incredible variety that felt like a feast every morning.
