Lovely hotel and staff - very clean and friendly

Warm welcome, great breakfast and comfortable accommodation with fantastic views. I loved the swimming-pool!

Beautiful property immersed in nature. The views, architecture, pool and plants were stunning. Food at the restaurant was excellent. A really unique stay.

Such a beautifully appointed accomodation, the views were exceptional. Communication was excellent and we were able to check in 1 hour early. The house itself is stunning and very clean, it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in the door. Breakfast was excellent, all very fresh and a lovely setting. Lovely hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Pool was amazing. We were in the family room and it was very spacious with proper beds for the kids. Didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t suitable for my kids but the staff recommended other local restaurants. No bar however they serve drinks and charcuterie. Would happily stay again

A small bolt hole, 4 rooms as part of a working winery hidden well off the beaten track. Great staff & simple meals with local wine make it a relaxing place to stay. You can tour the vineyard and winery or simply relax by the pool but it’s definitely a place to recharge your batteries. The bed was comfortable, linen and towels good. Amazing place

Our stay at Quinta de la Rosa was absolutely wonderful! The beautiful views everywhere you turn, the delicious locally inspired continental breakfast, and Patricia’s fantastic tasting tour made the experience truly special. Dinner each night was a culinary joy with the knowledgeable wait-staff. Everything was charming, welcoming, and memorable - a perfect blend of tradition and modern. A genuine gem in the Douro Valley that we would happily recommend and return to!

What a fabulous break we have just had thanks to Manual and his team. This is a family run , small Vinyard in a stunning location. We even had a little tour of the old house which is dating back 19 generations of the family. We booked on the day while touring the area. The rooms are brand new , inside old barns and buildings. Beautiful place with stunning views Very personal service, if you are interested in wine and vineyards the tour which is offered at the property is highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights and were treated well by the staff. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the pool provided a great addition. Overall, the climb from the train station and river was worthwhile.

Wonderful setting looking out over the Douro Valley with brilliant care of the 16 guests by the team - led by the unique and amazing Bernardo. Huge thanks for a magical stay - it was the highlight of our trip!
