"This is a beautiful old hotel centrally located in the inner Stadt that has been beautifully updated giving a sense of old Vienna but with a younger modern feel. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our room large and comfortable with nice amenities including bathrobes, slippers etc. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the bathroom was spacious, with good lighting, large towels and nice amenities. The only fly in the ointment was the lack of hot water for 12 hours during our stay, the small pastry left with the note of apology didn’t really seem adequate for the cold shower. We ate at 2 of the restaurants in the hotel and our dinner the last night before our departure proved to be one of the best meals of our trip which included several Michelin starred restaurants. The service, presentation, and quality of the food delivered was world class. The wine selection is superb and my wife and I left feeling this restaurant needs to be on a todo list if visiting Vienna. Other than the hot water issue we would stay at this beautiful property again"

"We enjoyed this hotel for our 6 night stay in Vienna. Even though it is away from the downtown, the U4 subway is a short walk and it is close to the Schonbrunn Palace grounds. The upgrade to breakfast was well worth it. Fresh fruit and cheeses, yogurts, cereals and hot eggs and bacon, etc. A nice start to the day. Rooms were comfortable as were the beds and generally quiet on the 3rd floor. Was able to accommodate us for an early morning check in and usual check out is 12 noon. Definitely recommend the gelato and sit in Italian pizza place located close by."

"The location was excellent as we arrived from the train station. They had our room ready early so that was a bonus. The bar and lobby area was very nice, lovely comfy chairs to relax in after a busy sightseeing day. Drinks were very reasonably priced especially the happy hour from 5-7pm! While the breakfast had the essentials and all looked fine there wasn’t a huge choice especially for vegetarians. Overall good option for location."
